Smart Cities: the recurrent theme of CSDM PARIS 2015
For its 6th edition, CSDM PARIS 2015 will focus its programming on Smart Cities : Systems Issues.
Information and communication systems play a critical role in building smart cities and supporting comprehensive urban informatics. Extensive research is taking place on a wide range of enabling information and communication technologies, including cloud and network infrastructure, wireless and sensing technologies, mobile crowdsourcing, social networking, and big data analytics for smart cities.
Some of the most complex systems to be designed and managed nowadays are cities. The design and management of urban infrastructures for defence, energy generation and distribution, healthcare, housing, and transportation represent a significant challenge for planners and architects, especially in Asia. The theme of the conference Smart Cities, Systems issues refers to the transcendance of such systems in peoples’ lives today. It also highlights the need for architects/designers, planners and decision-makers to consider cities of tomorrow.
CSD&M Paris will gather keynote speakers the first and second day of the conference to discuss most pressing issues regarding the design and management of cities today, and tomorrow.
Attention: the call for papers is open to all systems types and not only to smart cities.
