Pascal holds a Diploma in mechanical engineering from Centrale Paris - Paristech French High Schools and is worth a diversified experience of Research and Development in the steel industry, chemical industry, energy services company. He is now working in EDF Group as R&D Program director for sustainable cities.
The challenges for urban development are a key for sustainable development and EDF is investing a large research program to speed up innovations for cities. This program covers the fields of sustainable development and energy in urban projects with a strong operational expertise coupled with systemic approaches for long term urban planning. This approach was demonstrated in Singapore and China, Pascal aims at developing new projects in US, China and Europe.
Previously, Pascal founded Ecleer 5 years ago, the European Center and Labs for Energy Efficiency Research with leading scientific partners in Europe, namely Ecole des Mines de Paris and EPFL in Switzerland. The objective was to speed up innovation in the field of energy efficiency and resulted in a portfolio of € 14 M and 40 Phds.
